Scarecrow Theater Build Officially Underway
After a week of setbacks to our build schedule due to storms bringing heavy rains and high winds, our tent is now up and we can get to the good parts of the build. All of the walls should be up by the end of the week so that we can spend 2 weeks after that decorating, lighting, and setting up sounds and effects before our press day and dress rehearsals.
2012 Dates, Times, and Pricing
Scarecrow Theater will be operating from 7pm-11pm every Friday and Saturday during the month of October.
Tickets for Scarecrow Theater will be $10 this season. However, combo tickets with other events at Jones Orchard will give discounts on all tickets in the package.
Two event combo tickets will go for $18, allowing you two choose two events out of Scarecrow Theater, Terror at 2596, and Shadowlands.
Three event tickets will go for $24, allowing you entrance to all three events.
These packages were put together to allow people to tailor their Halloween entertainment to their preferences and budgets. Looking for the most bang for you buck? The three event ticket gives you the biggest discount per event. Just looking for haunted trails? A two event package can get you into both Terror at 2596 and Shadowlands. Want a mix of traditional and theater style events on a tighter budget? A two event package with Scarecrow Theater and one of the haunted trails may be for you. Coming to Jones Orchard specifically to see your favorite attraction? Single tickets are there for you.
If this isn’t enough choices or enough Halloween attractions for you, Jones Orchard is also offering a brand new Haunted Hayride for an additional $5 $4 added to any of the above packages. No other haunted attraction in the Memphis area offers as many events at a single location.
Scarecrow Theater T-Shirt Giveaway
This holiday weekend has been a really busy one getting all of our market materials prepared to send to the printer first thing Tuesday morning. We’ve been designing everything from posters, to business cards, to flyers. Most importantly, we have the new T-Shirt designs ready to go for 2012. To celebrate finishing the new shirts, and to help kick off our 2012 campaign, we will be giving out a number of our 2011 shirts between now and the beginning of the haunt season on OCtober 5th.
Our first givaway is beginning through our facebook page. See details there for rules on the giveaway.
Rules for additional giveaways will likely vary, so keep an eye out both here and on the facebook page for upcoming contests.
Scarecrow Theater Prepares for 2012 Season
After launching Scarecrow Theater for the 2011 Halloween season, we have decided to take it up a notch for 2012. We are investing in more effects, more scares, more props, and as you will immediately notice here, much better marketing. We are proud to launch our brand new website, designed by the best in the haunt industry, Chad Savage of Sinester Visions. New character art, logos, and a brand new website are a great improvement over what we had for our inaugural year, and reflect the improvements we will be making in the show as well.
Look for a lot of edits and additions over the next week as the 2012 content gets uploaded and posted with information about the upcoming season.
