Thanks to all for the 2012 Season

The Scarecrow Theater 2012 season has come to an end.  (Other Jone’s Orchard events are running Sunday, as well as Halloween night.)

I’d like to thank all the patrons who gave the show a chance by coming to see us.  I know it’s a bit harder to figure out what a “haunted theater” is compared to a haunted trail or haunted house, so I really appreciate those who gave us a try.  I hope you all enjoyed the experience, as something you couldn’t get from other area haunted events.

I’d like to thank Jone’s Orchard for allowing us to run our event there.   We would not have had the opportunity to try out this format of an event without them.  I know that the event isn’t the easiest thing to market, but Jone’s Orchard has given us the chance to at least try.

I’d like to think all fhte vendors, providing the great products we’ve used to put the show together.  Whether it’s haunted house music, custom carved foam for our tombstones and walls, gigantic props, controllers, mechanics, videos, speakers, lighting, high tech effects, decorative materials, or marketing materials, we couldn’t do the show without all of the “stuff” that makes up the show.

Lastly, and most of all, I’d like to thank the Scarecrow Theater crew.  The build is a tough one, especially with the weather not cooperating this year, but once again, the theater was ready with minutes to spare before showtime.  Most people wouldn’t believe the number of man hours it takes to put this show together, let alone operate it from week to week, and I’m sure the ammount of detail and effort put into the show will go unnoticed by almost everyone walking through the door.  However, I notice, and I’m very proud of the product we put out this year.

Look for some additional videos to go up on this site over the coming weeks and months.

1) Lightshow video – we will be posting at least one complete song from the cemetery lightshow.

2) Show highlight video – As long as the film came out good enough to be usable.

3) Behind the scenes video – We took some film of actors tunnels, control rooms and such to splice together a tour of what made Scarecrow Theater run.

Hopefuly this and more will be teady for posting soon.
